Managing a household well is a wearisome task for many ladies. Many of us homemakers have compounded the problem with the additional responsibilities of homeschooling and homesteading.
It takes a certain personality for these things to come effortlessly and I'm not one of them! Easily distracted, perpetually struggling with laziness, and wanting to spend time with my husband when he's home instead of catching up on the work I didn't finish during the day (I tell him I'd tuck myself into his shirt pocket and go everywhere he goes if I could!) I've needed to learn how to effectively and efficiently order my days.
My desire is that our home, with all that is embodied within it, is run with joyful, Christ-centered simplicity.
I don't claim to have any answers or a flawless system or schedule. I simply am a keeper-at-home, homeschooling our babes, and homesteading on our bit of land and this is how I muddle through running it all. I hope that if you're struggling with an management issue in your home that you might glean an idea or two from perusing these pages.
