Oh, but I didn't tell you how the little heifer got her name!

 Hannah's plan has always been to name her Mayflower and we were just going to go with it.

That is until Jared walked in from the barn yesterday morning to tell me something about the "heifer" and I thought he said "pepper." I thought it the cutest little name for a little black cow! Everyone agreed, including Hannah, so Pepper it is!

May she always serve as a reminder of the importance of enunciation lessons in our schoolroom.
