How is it possible that I haven't reviewed or recommended this wonderful Christian business to you before?

I don't know how I came to neglect it, but I did and now that it's come to my attention, I'm here to remedy that!

While we cancelled our cable several years ago, unplugged the TV and stored it in the basement a year ago, we have still been on again/off again customers of Netflix- I think maybe 4 of the months of this year. We always become disgusted and discouraged by the content of what Hollywood has to offer us and our family. In fact, the most enjoyment we take from most movie watching is picking it apart to identify the "sermon" they're preaching and finding the promoted worldview. Even the documentaries. (Most recently we watched the Ken Burns series The West and it couldn't have made our American heritage look more despicable, shameful, and revolting.) On the bright side, I've saved $120 this year.

Thankfully, there is a company offering an alternative for the Christian family and for quite some time, we have been customers of Puritan Picks, a Christian "subscription based DVD lending library" that functions in much the same way as Netflix. We're pleased with their selection, speed, customer service, and prices. One of my favorite features of their site is that you can let them know on your queue page that you've sent back the dvd and they'll ship your next dvd before they even get your last one!

We are Christians who have been greatly encouraged by the writings of the Puritans. We have also been greatly encouraged by the increased amount of faithful video's and films being produced to equip the saints amongst a corrupt age of post-modern "Christianity."

We live in a time where subjectivism, feelings, experience and pragmatism is exalted over the objective truth of God's word and a day where a different gospel is being preached in many modern "churches."

Not only have we sought to compile a list of solid educational Christian videos; we have also sought to make them more accessible. These videos range from christian living to apologetics, theology, history, and various seminary grade curicullum. Oh and lets not forget the Christian movies, children's videos and cartoons.

Check out some of these wonderful resources that we've enjoyed or look forward seeing soon!
